Martina Vetrovcova

President & Co-Founder

Martina, one of the three founders of Momentum Novum, is a PhD candidate at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. She simultaneously works as a research assistant, office manager, and project coordinator at the Chair for International Relations and Foreign Policy at the Institute of Political Science. For many years, Martina has been volunteering at the National Model United Nations • New York, where she currently serves as the Under-Secretary-General for the Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs Department. In 2018 Martina was trained by Al Gore to become a Climate Reality Leader.

Her areas of expertise are mainly international migration, nexus between climate change and migration, sustainable development, human rights, Central and Eastern Europe, China-EU relations.

She focuses on the following SDGs:
